Initial testing of Nikon software with Apples new 'Snow Leopard' Mac OS 10.6 indicates that there are incompatibilites with Nikon Capture NX 2, Nikon View NX and Nikon Scan, users of these applications should not upgrade their OS at this time. Like NX, it cannot input DNG files, however, it does export as DNG (albeit linear DNG files which are HUGE)! For processing wide angle shots and fisheye lens shots, it's correction is phenominal, and it does an amazing job of fixing images based upon the camera body and lenses used. NX v1.x had a horrible interface that was unintuitive and rather cumbersome.įfective workflow with processing RAW images is extremely important to me. Nikon Capture NX 2 is a full-featured non-destructive photo editing program that provides. ![]() Nikon is really just playing catchup - although I am curious to see how the interface has been improved. The Nikon press release on their website was rather boring and most of the new features are present in DxO and Lightroom. I'm going to troll and give it a 4 based on previous versions. ![]()
